Monticello Herald: On call of Pres ident, John McMurtry, the house came to order and proceeded to the election of officers for the coming year. President—Edward Brown, of Pulaski. Vioe-Presidents—John McAllister, of White county; Capt.Burnham, of Jasper; Frank Oswald, of Newton; Harry 0. Smith, of Benton; Nelson Bennett, of Pulaski. Secretary—Wm. Cummins, of Newton county. Treasurer—Judge Hammond, of Jasper county. Finance committee—lsaac Price, of White county; Henry Griggs, of Newton ;N. K. Harman, of Benton; Capt. Chilcote, of Jasper; Jno. James, of Pulaski. The following resolutions were adoped: Resolved, Thatthe Vice-Presidents of this Association constitute the Executive Committee. Resolved, That the Executive Committee be and are hereby empowered to gx the time and place of holding tne next reunion. Speeches by Messrs.
