Notice to Contractors. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, That in pureu•nee of an order of the Board of Commissioners, made at the Special September Session, 1881, Sealed Proposals will bo teceived until tne Second Day of the nexi Session of said Board, bnlng the 6th Day of December, 1881, for the erection of a JAIL and SHERIFF'S RESIDENCE on Lots Fonr and Five, in Block Ten, in Rensselaer, according to Plans and Specific* tions now on file for inspection and examination in tho Auditor's Office of this County, to be completed by October lot, 1888. Bids will be received for Excavation and Stone worn. Brick work, and Iron work,(includingCells) separately; also for the Buildings completed. The work to be pag for on estimates made by Superintendent at the end of each month, and Seventy five per cent, of such estimate then paid, and when the whole work {.completed in strict compliance with said Plans and Specifications, to the satisfaction of the Board and Superintendent, and all debts incurred by contractor, or contractors, paid or satisfied, including labor, material furnished, and for b .arding laborers, the residue of contract price shall be paid to the contractor, or contractors.
