Our clever friend, Frank Cbilcote, in compaay with Ben. Harrison and a lot other hoosiers, made api.gnmage to Meiitor.during the week. They put in claims for a cabinet appointment for Loos erdom, bu. could not agree on the man. Frank says the sage of Mentor bears a striking resemblance to our Democratie friend, John G. Culp, of Barkley township. We claim our John, however, to be the best man. He is a Democrat—was neve r stuck with Credit Mobilier and DeGolyer stocks, and consequently has nev er resorted to the methods of the Mei • torite to preserve his record.
