Charles H. Harris, step son of MrJames T. Randle, of this county, and grandson of Rial Benjamin, ?of this place, a student at Valparaiso Normal, wh le crossing the railroad track in that city, Wednesday last, was struck by the lightning train receiv iug injuries which caused death in an hour thereafter. The remains will be interred at Beaver Prairie, Newton county, ta-day. Charley was a favorite with all who knew him, a young man of fine promise, and his sudden and violent cutting oil invokes the sympathies of all for the bereaved mother and friends.
