Department Estimates.

Tho book of estimates containing the amount of appropriations required by the public service during the fiscal year ending June 30, 1882, has been completed. The total amount estimated fqr the legislative expenses is $3,038,043. Tlio amount appropriated for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1881, was $2,971,897. The estimate for the executive proper is $98.068, against appropriated last year. The following are the estimates for the several executive departments during the fiscal vear ending Juno 30, 1832, and the appropriations made therefor for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1881 : Departments. 1882. 1881.
