A lad, arrested for theft, when taken before the magistrate and asked what his occupation was, frankly answered: “Stealing!” “Your candor astonishes me,” said the Judge. “I thought it would,” replied the lad, “seeing how many big ’una there are in the same business, and are ashamed to own it!"
