J. M. Hufty shipped one car load of clover seed to Chicago over the I. D. &C, RR. First from Newton county. Carter Bros, have a new clover buffer of the Burdsell patent. Geu. Graiit«did not visit our place, but John Pureupile, of Rensselaer,, did. Just the same, “Gim” Nichols shipped two car loads of hogs on the 2d, for J. M. Ilufty. “Biff” Wisehnrd and Scott Bruner did not go to Chicago. They were too tall for the car door, is the reason. John Blaukeubaker built too large a church for this township. This is the largest school building and smallest school. Mias Hogan and Brunson Davis runs two of the best schools in our township, bo said by the County superintendent, who is certainly correct. J.
