TEMPERANCE MEETING.
The regular monthly meeting of the Ja. 1 -' per County Temperance Union will be lieid at the Presbyterian church next Monday evening, August 4th. The order of exer ffi.sos will be as follows 1 Song, by the choir. Reading of scriptures, by vice-president. Prayer. Song. Discussion as to the proper mode of organizing the temperance work in Rensselaer in order to secure peimanent success. Five minute speeches by Charles H. Price, Robert S. Dwiggins, Samson Erwin, Mrs. Alfred Thompson, Mrs. G. A. Moss, Daniel B. Mil ler, Horace E. James, and others. Election of officers. Simon P. Thompson, President.
