Clint. D. Stackhouse brought into the Sentinel office, yesterday alter noon, a handsome specimen of the justly celebrated “Ciawson Wheat, of which he is the happy possessor of six acres. Childers, the hardware man has secured the sale of it for seed. Considerable rain-fall during the week, with its consequent hindrance to farmers in securing the crops. No considerable damage may result in this section. In th 6 Wabash flats however, we learn, farmers have suffered sever loss. Entire crops have been washed off.
