John Worden, who had been afflicted with palsy for several years past died in Rensselaer last Sunday and was buried Monday afternoon. It is said that David Nowels has leased his new hotel to a party from Thorntown who will occupy it by the 4th of July.

Sheriff Hay, Robert Hregory, Esq , James Howard, of Monticello, and - Ridenour, of the Indianapolis Journal, came over the Narrow Gauge to Rensselaer last Sunday. Bedford is removing part of the store building which he has been occupying for some time, on to VanRensselaer street, fronting the Court House Square, and fitting it up for a butcher shop.
