Voorhees' Election Certain.

[Albanv Argus.] Of course there is no truth in the report that Mr. Voorhees is likely to be defeated for re-election as senator. The people of Indiana were polled on that question and decided it in the affirmative. The Hon. Thomas F. Nelson, also of Terre Hauto, Mr. Voorhees’ friend and neighbor, although a republican, bluntly declares that Mr. Voorhees can noi be defeated, and in a way to intimate that 1 e ought not to be. Meanness in politics better becomes republican newspapers than elected legislatures—at least in Indiaua.
