It runs thus:] Drop a glove—Yes. Crumple the glove in the han I—Ns. HHI Half unglove the left hand—lndifference. Tap the left shoulder with the gloves—Follow me. JJJ Tap the chin with the gloves—i love you no longer. mmm Turn the gloves inside out—l hate you. . Fold the gloves neatly—l would like to be with you Put on the left glove, leaving the thumb uncovered—Do you love me? Drop, both gloves —I love you. Voorhees' Election Certain.
[Albanv Argus.] Of course there is no truth in the report that Mr. Voorhees is likely to be defeated for re-election as senator. The people of Indiana were polled on that question and decided it in the affirmative. The Hon. Thomas F. Nelson, also of Terre Hauto, Mr. Voorhees’ friend and neighbor, although a republican, bluntly declares that Mr. Voorhees can noi be defeated, and in a way to intimate that 1 e ought not to be. Meanness in politics better becomes republican newspapers than elected legislatures—at least in Indiaua.
Positive Results. —There are numerous remedies that cure sometimes and become trusted as useful, but none have ever proved so effectual —cured so many and such remarkaable cases—as Dr. Ayer’s medicines. The Cherry Pectoral has restored great numbers of patients who were believed te be hopelessly effected with consumption. Ague Cure breaks up chills and fever quickly and surely. Ayer’s Compound Extract of Sarsaparilla eradicates scrofula and im purities of the blood, cleanses the system and restores it to vigorous health. By its timely use many troublesome disorders that cause a decline of health are expelled or cured. Ayer’s Pills and their effects are too well known everywhere to require any commendation from us here. — Scranton (Fa.) Times. Liver Is King.
The Liver is the imperial organ of the whole human system, as it controls the life, health and happiness of man. When it is disturbed in its proper action, all kinds of ailments are the natural result; The digestion o food, the movements of the heart and blood, the action of the brain and nervous system, are all immediately connected with the workings of the Liver.
