It can, be safely recommended as a sure ' remedy and specific for the Fever atul Ague of the "West, and the Chills and Fever of the Soiit-h, which, once broken up by it, do not return until the disease is again contracted. The great verity of disorders which arise from the irritation of this poison, such as. A'eitralgia, Kheumati . n, Goar, Headache, Blindness, Toothache, "Earache, Catarrh, Asthma, I’alpitntjon, Splenic Affections, Hysterics,l’ain in the Bowels, Colic, Paralysis, and derangement of the Stomach, all of which b -oomc intermittent or periodical, liave no spwdiir remedy than Ayer’s Ac.ie Cere, winch cures them all alike, and protects the system from future attacks. As a preventive, it is of immense service in those communities where Fever and Ague prevails, as it stays the development of the disi rise if taken on tlie first approach of the premonitory symptoms. Travellers and temporary residents are thus enabled to defy these disorders, and few will ever suffer if they avail themselves of the protection this remedy affords. For Elver Complaints, arising from torpidity,it is an excellciit remedy; it stimulates this organ into healthy activity, and produces many remarkable cures where other medicines i fail.
