Did Steal Some.

[Courier-Journal.] Says the virtuous and veracious Zach Chandler: “Whatever our opinions of Mr. Hayes we all know he was legally elected, and we will defend his title to the last.” Certainly we do, and certainly v’o will. We don’t mind confessing now that we received the vote of two or three states for Mr. Hayes thr. ugh fraud; but those frauds don’t count. We all know that be was legally elected, and he who lays his hand on that title of his save in kindness had better been born a dog than answer our waked wrath—hadn’t he, Zach?
