Jasper County Normal Institute.

Teachers and other interested par ties are notified that a Normal Insti tute will be opened in the Rensselaei public school building, July 29. 1878, and closing with the annual count} institute, August 30, under the in struction and management of Prof. G. W. Allen, principal ot the Rensselaer schools, A Beery, a graduate of .the Central Indiana Normal School and County Superintendent J. H. Snoddy. Assurance has already been received of an attendance of over <. hundred pupils, and it is confidently expected that this will be more that realized. Other competent instruct ors will be secured if needed. Instruction will be given in all the common school branches—zoology, mental philosophy applied to eduea tional methods, aud the theory ana practice of teaching. Arrangements will be made foi board at reasonable rates, and facilities for those desiring to board themselves, at a greatly tedueed outlay, will also be presented. Large sums of money are annually paid by the citizens of Jasper count} for the education of her teachers and pupils in other localities, where the facilities are no better than those offered by the Jasper county Normal. Let this money be kept at home, ana let this effort tending toward the es tablishment of a permanent institution for the education of our teachers and the culture of our youth, be properly sustained by all parties truly interested in the educational progress of our county. Do not dispair if you have tried a hundred and one remedies for Rheumatism or Neuralgia without relief.
