Ti e Indianapalis Journal previous to February 10th, denounced in the harshest terms all who doubted thability of the government to resume in 1879, The editor took a trip to Washington, and now informs his readers it will not be possible to resume specie payments at the time designated. Mr. Lamar, of Mississippi, was requested and instructed by the people of his State to vote for the silver bill before the ยป*enate, but he declared t eat duty, as he regarded the matter nwnpeifed him to vote against it Mr Lamar should consider that he is placed in the Senate to represent the people of Mississippi, and not Mr. Lamar.
