Peru’s Silver Mines.
The Cerro de Paxo mines in Peru are attracting general attention. The works are being pressed forward with all possible dispatch. A distinguished engineer has given his opinion that above the present water-level of the mines there are 250,000,000 tons of metal that will yield six marks, or S6O to the cajou of three tons—that is to say, S2O per ton.
