The Cost of the Nicaragua Canal.

Mr. O’Sullivan, who has always been prominently interested in the proposed Nicaragua canal, was at the State Department the other day, on diplomatic business connected with that enterprise. He says the work will cost $80,000,000, and can be completed within five years. No appropriation will be asked of Congress, but subscriptions opened to all parts of the world.
