As a companion piece for his freak primary election bill, Senator Roemier of Indianapolis has invented a registration bill which seems to have even greater dime museum possibilities. It probably will occur to somebody some time that a simple, understandable and common-sense primary election law, without traps or pitfalls in it, is the only kind that will win public favor. Senator Roemier may have labored hard at his job, but then so did the mountain. Vice President Fairbanks’ Indianapolis organs, the News and Star, hope to see the country turn to Fairbanks as a proved "conservative.” If having no ideas or opinions on any public question makes a man a "conservative,” then Fairbanks is one. He is the biggest moral coward that ever made himself conspicuous by the free use of mysteriously acquired money. If that is another element of conservatism, then Fairbanks has it. MUSIC NIGHTS AT THE RINK The Attendance Grows and Pleasure
Increases. The nights for music this week at the Princess roller skating rink are Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. One of the largest crowds of the season •was present Saturday evening and as usual it was an orderly crowd who j enjoyed the pleasures exceedingly. The afternoon attendance, while not large, is the right kind for those who wish to practice. The married ladies are now enjoying the sport and several future parties are being planned, i Remember, music on Tuesday, Friday ! > and Saturday. ,;

TO ENJOY A GOOD DINNER , How to Avoid Distress and Indigestion After Eating. Let us tell wou how you can enjoy a good dinner, so that the heartiest meal wll set well on your stomach and cause no unpleasant and disagreeable after effects. We will show you how to regain the, annetite of your childhood and the en-■
jovment of'food, so that it will taste as well as when mother cooked the dinner. There's no hard work necessarj to |do this; no need of a rigid and selfdenying diet list; no call for nasty and disagreeable medicines. Simply take a Mi-o-na stomach tablet before each meal and before going to bed, and it will so strengthen the stomach that before long a hearty meal will give
you gratification and comfort, without the least fear of distress and suffering. The strongest proof we can offer of our faith in this advice is the fact that I The Holthouse Drug Co. give an absolute, unqualified guarantee (applying Ito two 50c boxes of Mi-o-na)’ that your I money will be refunded unless Mi-o-na I cures. A guarantee like this gives you confidence in Mi-o-na. They take the whole risk, and the remedy will not ■cost you a penny unless it cures. Mi-o-na is not a mere digestive, girling only temporary relief, but a specific I for all diseases of the stomach, strengthening the digestive organs and making a permanent cure.

11 can look at this question from a 'non-partisan view, so to speak, and wi sav that it is the duty of every man | to’consider his neighbors' interests a» well as his own, and whenever a man has an opportunity to return a favor for one he has already received, it is dutv to do so, and we thereby help | to build up each other s interests and make us both strong.
Mr Meyers tries to scare the people by'presuming that they will be called I upon to vote subsidies to a number iof other roads which may be built tn 'the future, but it is not likely that any other road will come to us in | the same shape that this one has. as
I they have invested a fortune here 'which they wish to retain as an improvement to Decatur and they have become permanent residents of the city, which is a condition that no other road is likely to present, and if they do it will be time to get frightened at it when it comes. L. C. MILLER.
Heart Strength Heart Strength. or Heart Weaknew. means 5 erv» Strength, or Nerve Weakneee—nothing more. Positively. not one weak heart in a hundred is, in iV self, actually diseased. It is almost always a hidden tiny little nerve that really is all at fan*. This obscure nerve—the Cardiac, or Heart Nerva —simply needs, and must have, more power, more stability, more controlling, more governing Strengtii. Without that the Heart must oontinua to fail, and the stomach and kidneys also have these same controlling nerves. This dearly explains why, as a medicine, Dr. Shoop’s Restorative has in the past done so much for weak and ailing Hearta Dr. Shoop first sought the cau.w of all this painful, palpitating, suffoea*. tag heart distress. Dr. Shoop’s Restorative—thi» popular prescription —is alone directed to three weak and wasting nerve centers. It builds; It strengthens; it offers real, genuine heart help. If you would have strong Hearts, strong digestion. strengthen these nerves — re-establish them as needed, with Dr. Shoop’s Restorative WM. H. NACHTRIEB.
