CASE IS ON Moyer Damage Suit.- Huber DeVoss as Stenographer. In the circuit court, WedrtMday morning, was begun the trial of the case of William Moyer against William Glendeuing et al., for damage* resulting from alleged misrepreeen tation of the output of several oil leases owned by a company in which all were interested. W ith Judge La Follette on the bench, practically ail the forenoon was spent in the effort to set urea jury. George Stolz of Wayne township, James W, Mi Fad den, (Thomas Stone anti George T Brake of Madison township, Asa Pet tyjohn of Jefferson township, Henry Stuber and William Bennett of Noble township, Samuel Claycotxtb and Me) vin E. Neare of Greene township, Joseph lyeggett and John W\ Merrill of Jackson township, and John Fid dler of Pike township, were finally ao eepted as the twelve men who will hear the evidence and undertake to settle the differences iielween the litigants. Prior to the noon adjournment the opening statement waa made by Theodore Shorkney of Cnion City, for the plaintiff, and the examination of witnesses was not taken up uniil after the noon adjournment Huber Devoss of Decatur, for a long time the [official reporter of the Adams circuit court, and a stenographer of ability unexcelled in the stale, is here to report the case.
