Milliard Cowan of Hartford City, is in the city, a guest of friends and relatives. Mr. Cowan was formerly city marshal here, but is now located at the above place, where he is engaged in the oil business. Last evening Miss Agnes Vogle wede entertained at the home of Mr and Mrs. James P HaoP.ing in honor of Miss Helen Auntio cf Toledo, Ohio, and Miss Catherine Kinney of New Corydon. Pedro being the principal amusement of the evening, prizes were won by Miss Vera Ehinger and Catherine , Kinney, while Miss Stella Kohne and Margaret Clark had to console themselves with the booby. A lieanut hunt was also indulged in Miss Agnes Berling secured the Hrst prize and Miss Georgia . deibers the booby. About 10:30 , i three-course luncheon was served. \fter this the guests departed for i he home of Miss Bertha Kinney. ?here she entertained at a slumbering party. A flue time was reported.
