A consultation of several doctors pronouncing her sickness as an attack of appendicitis. Miss Lydia Drummond will leave tonight for Salem, Oreon, to visit her sister, Mrs. Ora Simon She expects to be one several months and will take in the exposition at Portland, Oregon. R. W. McMahon, formerly an artist with the layman Bros., picture house, and who is now travelin for the L. M. Johnson manu factoring company, of Chicago, is here on a visit with friends.

A full attendance of the members of the Pathfinder lodge is desired at council tonight, as a matter of importanoe is to be discussed. B. F. Vantilburg has accepted the agency in this city for the Grand Union Tea company of Fort Wayne, and any orders or calls left for him will be promptly attended to. Knights 3f Columbus. H- Corbin is back from Willshire to stay, and has rigged him self up a paint shop in the old Buhler blacksmith shop on Jefferson street, and is now ready to welcome any of his old customers, and all new ones who ha-voanything in his line. The Hartford City ball team arrived this morning fresh from a victory al Portland, and fully confident that they will take the meas ure of the Rosenthal. Railing and Coons are the opposing pitchers, and as we go to press a hot battle is on at Stale’s park. A full account of the game will be given tomorro«v.
