Christen made a ' business trip to Napoleon, Ohio, last evening, where he will look after n>me church contracts. Misses Harriet Morrison and Helen Niblick went to Fort Wayne last evening to visit for a few days with Mr and Mrs. W. J. Vesey. Dr. Beardsley states that the condition of Mrs. Albert Buhler is much better, and that he is now greatly encouraged and of the I opinion that she will now fully r -cover. Dr. Kosenthal and his attendant returned to Fort Wayne last evening. They came here with the intention of operating upon Mrs. Charles Magley for apendi.itis, but found it not necessary. Henry Schlegel, who was arrest ed yesterday by Marshal Green, on a charge of public intoxication, was arraigned before 'Squire Smith this morning and plead guilty, being assessed a dollar and costs. He will board it out with Sheriff Butler. Charles 8. Niblick gave a neat exhibition of bicycle riding las; evening, when he speared on the streets with one of the oldfashioned high wheeled velo ipedes. The wheel looked odd and is the first time it has been rode for ten years by Mr. Niblick. The wheel is a valuable one and when in date 0 >st 1150. Frank Copp and Wilson Miller h .ve purchased the Buchanan blacksmith shop at Willshire, and will take possession of same next week. They are both hard working young men, deserving of any success that may oomo their way, and will give their best attention to the business. Mr. Copp is a practical blacksmith of many years’ experience, while Mr. Miller is taking his first tenons at the trade.
