Mies Maude Costello returned to her home in Chicago, Saturday evening, after a pleasant two weeks visit here with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Christen and l>abe and Mrs. Albright Christen spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Will Christen at Rockford, Ohio. John M. Frisinger left last evening for Bleginm, where he will purchase several oar loads of BeIgium stallions. He will lie absent several months. Henry Schlegel became too boisterous this morning while having a jag "on and was landed .in jail by Marshal Green His hearing will lie tomorrow morning, when he will no doubt be given the usual dose. The funeral services of William Kisrohner of Kirkland township were held yesterday morning, at eleven o'clock, at the Preble Lutheran church. Interment was made in the Preble cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Shaffer Peterson yesterday entertained a crowd of young ladies at dinner, and the girls rejiort a most enjoyable time. In fact the dinner was t-o good that eight o'clock in the evening the crowd returned and finished up the good things. Mr. and JMrs. Edward Luttman entertained friends yesterday, at their pretty home five miles northwest of the city. The guests from Decatur were Miss Catherine Biggins, H. D. Rtoe and Miss Ads Hart. As host, and hostess, Mr. and Mrs. Lnttman are particularly well qualified to make the hours of guests must pleasant, especially so las to the palatable dinners they ! serve.

John Edwards is remodeling and building an addition to his residence on the tome’ of Ninth and Madison streets Mrs. Joseph Hrnnnegraff and son Clarence*. and Mr. ahd Mrs. Gus Neeman left for Detroit, Mich , yesterday morn’ng, where they will make a two weeks' visit with relatives. Mrs. Frank Christen and son, Stanley arrived yesterday afternoon from Chicago, and are guests of Mrs. H. L. Confer. Mrs. Chris ten and babe will .eninfn several weeks visiting relative*. Through Robert Bliickbnrn. pension agent. the pension of Samnel Steele of Pleasant Mills has been increased to twelve dollars a month and that of Wells Jones, of Fort Wayne, to eight dollars. The condition of Mr*. Albert Buhler i* much improved today, and the doctors are very h >paful as to the outcome. She passed a very good night after a restless day, and was much refreshed this morning. This will no doubt prove encotiraging news to her many friends. Owing to the celebration at the Catholic church next Sunday there will lie no ball game, the same being postponed until the following Tuesdav, when the fast Hartford City team will play here. This team has won sixteen games and lost three so far this season, and the attraction should prove to be a good one Word was received here yester. da? by the organizer* of the Elks lodffe that a charter had been granted to this City and that the names of the charter members had been sent to Bluffton as that lodge will pass on the same. This action will no doubt be taken some time this week when arrangements will lie made tor the evening the lodge will be instituted. A few days ago we stated that the Fort Wayne. Bluffton and Ma rion traction line between Bluffton and Fort Wayne would not be completed until next September. E J. Hall, chief engineer for L. E. Mvera Co., who are building same, informed us todav, however, that they were tinder contract to have same in running order by November Ist. next. . Tom Railing yesterday pitched the last three innings in the game of Milwaukee against Louisville, and did hmself much credit by only allowing two hits annd retiring Louisville without a run. The game was started by McKay, and when Tom went in the score was 10 to 2 in Louisville's favor, and Tom held the heavy hitters down and no more runs were registered. A little family disturbance took place last evening in the rear of Walter) Murray's barber shop, j when a certain married woman caught her husband with another woman. Several angry Words were passed back and forth and several threats made, but no damage done. The woman, however, succeeded in capturing her husband and took him home with her. We refrain from using names at this time, but another similar offense will fall for the entire story. Dissolution Notice. Notice is hereby given that the firm of Butler & Co., which said firm is composed of Jesse Butler and John Scheimtnn, is this day dissolved by mutual consent of said parties. That Jesse Butler, the senior member of said firm, has on this day of July, 1905, sold his entire interest in ‘Brill” and “Tampa” to John Soheiman, and that all accounts of said firm shall be settled with and paid to John Scheiman.
