Fred Eichenberger returned last evening from Berne, where he was visiting his family. Mr. and Mrs R. B. Sprague went to Grovertown, last evening, to visit several weeks with relatives. Perry Ferry arrived last evening from New York, and is a guest of bis jmrents, Mr and Mrs. Ferry at Preble. Rtv. Jay C. Dorwin returned this morning to Lo gansport, afttr making a pleasant visit here with relatives. Fred Patterson arrived last evening from Geneva, and was a guest of his parents for a short time. Miss Anna Waggonfeldt returned to Indianapolis, todav, after a visit in tnis city, as guest of F. C. Hoile and family. All the ladies of the Decatur hive of ladv Maccabees are requested to meet at the N, H. C. hall at two o’clock tomorrow afternoon to receive the ladies of the Fork Wayne hive. The funeral services of Mrs. Sarah Cramer were held this afternoon at four o'clock, from the home on First, street. Rev. Allen officiated, assisted by Rev. A. B. Haist. Interment was made at Decatur cemetery. Tomorrow afternoon and evening, Saturday. July Ist, will be a gala day for the ladies of the Maccabees of Decatur, at which time the ladies of Mad Anthonv Hive, of Fort Wayne, will be here to exemplify the ritualistic work of the order. Afternoon session begins at 2:30 and evening session at 7:30. at which time the charter will be closed. A banquet will lie served at the Murray house Mrs. Abe Simmons, Mrs. Fl'en Diiley and Mrs. Harry Deam were hostesses Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon to one hundred and twenty five guests whom the.- entertained at a delightful reoep’ion at the home of Mrs. Simmons. It was their intention to make everything as informal as possible and they succeeded admirably and lightened the enjoyment of their b uests. —Bluffton News.

Hugh Woods returned to Warsaw, last evening, after a visit in the city, a guest of his parents. Will Vesey returned to Fort Wayne last evening. He was here attending the Niblick-Ed wards nuptials. M. F. Rice and Ben Ric« returned last evening from Ridgeville, where they were attending to timber business. Marshal Green received notice this morning from D. D. Oakes, of Todmor, Ohio, to be on the lookout for a stolen horse and buggy, the horse being a bay, fifteen hands high, ten years old, weighing about 1300 pounds; the buggy was a piano box, gears painted brown and the body black. Tae harness was la g > >1 ship’ and of the latest pattern. A reward is offered and the marshal is keeping his eyes open.
