Rev Klausing left this morning for Detroit, where he will Ibe for two weeks, attending the Missouri Synod, he being a representative for the ministers of Adams county. Prof. Damkoehler left this morning for Detroit. Mich, where he w’ll be absent for several weeks, attending the Missouri Svnod. He is a representative of the teachers of Adams county.

Grandmother Gaffer and granddaughter went to fort Wayne this morning to visit for several days with relatives. Mrs. J. A. Newlin returned to Fort Wayne last evening. While here she was a guest of her sister Mrs Charles Elzey. Simona and JMiss Edna An drews returned to Huntertown last evening They were here attend ing the Bracht Wyatt nuptials. Mi«s Ella Finons a”d Miss E Ina Andrews returned to their homes at Fort Wayne today. While here they attended the Bracht Wyatt wedding. Miss Finons is an accomplished musician. Arrangements are all perfected for the commencement exercises of the St. Joseph school, which will be given at Bosse's opera house. Thursday evening. Ibe seat sale wil be large and the graduates will be greeted with a large house. This evening at the N. H C. club rooms the local Pathfinders lodge will hold a sox social for the l>«nefit of the local order. A large del egation from Fort Wayne, Marion and Bluffton will be in attendance, and a fine time will be in order W. E. Smith’s orchestra will furnish the music. At the Majestic theatre Fort Wayne, seats are now on sale for the engagement Thursday uight, of E H Sothern and Julia Marlowe, whose joint appearance will be the notable Shakesjiearean event of years. They will be presented by Chatles F ibman in a superb production of Romeo and Juliet, supported by a carefully selected company of more than 100 trained actors.

The Helping Hand society of the Reformed church will meet with Mrs Fred Sellemever at two I o'clock. Thursday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Jamey returned to their home today in Fort Wayne, after spending Sunday with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. L. T. Brokaw The Ladies Aid society of the Presbyterian church will meet with Mrs. W. H- Meyers on Ad ams street, Thursday afternoon. A large attendance is desired. Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Hart has a chicken three weeks old that has four legs and four feet. Mr. Hart has fig ured it out that there are eighty million people in the United States, and that if every one of them could see this great curiosity and pay ten cents therefor, the proceeds would amount eight hundred million dollars. He is willing, however, to take half of that amount for the four legged chicken, and let the other fellow have the 'Other half.

NIXON-TUCKER Ohio Man Wins an Adams County Bride. Lust Saturday evening at the heme of Mr. and Mrs. Asa Tucker, who resides near Monroe, occurred the wedding of their daughter, Miss Lillian to Mr. Ramie Nixon, of Hocking county. Ohio. The wedding was a quiet affair, only the immediate relatives witnessing the ceremony, which was performed by Rev. J. A. Sprague of Monroe. A wedding supper was served and the happy young couple were the recipients of many congratulations. They will make their future home in Hocking county, where Mr. Nixon. is engaged at the blacksmithing trade. A similar request was sent to al’, other countries. On July 1,2, 3. and 4, the Erie railroad will sell excursion tickets to all points within a radius of 200 miles from selling sation, at very low rates. Return limit July sth.
