John Maxwell, owner of the fast Lima base ba'l team, has written Floyd LeHrun to report t<» him about April 20th and try out for an infield position. Floyd is a fair ball plaver and it is quite likely he will bo on the Lima team the coming season. The Bm Tin club met last evenling with Miss Edna Crawford. Whist was p'ayed. H N ichtrieb this even ing. All members are urged to be present. The condition of Grandmother Gaffer is unchanged today, ami she is still in a ecrious condition, her heart action lieing very poor. Her doctor states that her old ago and the severity of the disease makes the chances much against her Tom Railing, Dee Devinney and Dick Furrel will leave for Dalias, Texas, this evening or tomorrow morning, where they will play ball the coming season. Their transportation arrived this morning from Dallas, calling by the way of Fjrt Wayne and St. Louis, thence over the ‘Katy” route into Dallas Louis Holtnouse's condition is unchanged today, he being no better or no worse. He passed a very restless night, which left him in a weakened condition. He is still within the danger mark and his doctor seems to be unable to check the disease.
