J- Lutz returned last evening from Fort Wayne, where she has been o ntined in the Hope hos pital, taking treament for an injury received in a wreck at Kokomo some time ago. Miss Lillie L ewton returned to Berne today, after a visit with her mother neir Peterson. Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Dullaghan returned to Fort Wayne today, after a visit here, the guests of relatives. A warrant was issued today for Mrs. Cecil Augsburger, who will be returned to East Haven asylum at Richmond tomorrow. The funeral services over the remains of Mrs. Hoile were held yesterday at the Fuelling church, and a large assembly was piesent. Interment was made in the Fuelling cemetery. Miss Edna .Crawford entertained a number of her friends last evening at at the home of Mr. and Mts. W. A. Kuebler, at six o’clock tea. Those present were Misses Miyme Smith, Agnes Mylott, Dode Voglewede and Messrs. ‘’Fish” Mangold, Oscar Augsberger and Horace Snow. The funeral services of Mrs. Terrence Ginley were held this morning at nine o’clock at the St. Mary's church, A large crowd was present to pay their last tribute of respect to the deceased. Interment was made in the St. Joseph cemetery. The floral offerings were very beautiful. Monte Cristo, the play billed for the opera house Friday, January 27, has a great reputation. It has been played by manv celebrated actors. Mr. James O’Neil, whom everyone knows by reputation, will always b< connected with the play, his ren- , diiion of the part of Edmond Dante ' ranking very high in the estimation of every American theatre goer, and his memory will live forever on account of his connection with this 1 great play. About twenty live young people are going to Ohio City this evenirg to witness the production of the fa -ce comedy, “Blizzard,” that will be produced by the home talent oomjiany from this place. In the case of the State vs Lillie Marshound before 'Squire Smith for assault and battery on one Miss Emma Smith, the defendant plead guil ly and was fined one dollar and co«ts, which she promptly paid and was released from custody. Constable W. E Smith made the arrest. I Rev. Jones yesterday preached his sermon of acceptance at the St. John's Lutheran church and a large crowd was present to hear his talk which wa« a powerful oration, he being a fluent talker and having good command of the English Jan‘guage. The Blizzard Opera company left today for Ohio City, where they show this evening. This is tho home talent company and is composed of eight members, six geutlemon and two ladies. This company carry their own scenery and b trunks und look like the real thing. This j occasion at Ohio City tonight will ' long be remembreed by the theatregoing people of that amlet and tiefore leaving the Company may fully become acquainted with the price of bud fruit.
