While here he was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Barkley. Mrs. Anna Chilchotte, arrived last evening from Newark, Ohio, and is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Tettman. Mr. and Mrs. Leddig returned to Geneva this morning, after visiting here for a Short time with Mr. and Mrs. George Meihls. Miss Helen and Glayds Redroy returned to Fort Wayne last evening after making a short visit here with Mr. and Mrs. L. T. Brokaw. Argo Brushwiller left last even ing f>r St. Louis, where he will take in the sights at the big fair. From there he will go to Paragould, Arkansas, where he will accept a position with theJDecatur Egg Case Co. A. Holthouse 'left this morning for his home at Jonesboro, Arkansas, after visiting here for several weeks with his brothers and old friends. He was accompanied home by Mrs. R. J. Holthouse and family who will spend the winter in Arkansas.

Miss Pauline Graddic returned to Bellview, Ohio, this morning, after making a pleasant visit here with friends. Mrs. Schust returned to Fort Wayne last evening, after visiting here for a few days with Mr. and Mrs. H. Lankenau. J. E. Hendricks went to New Castle today, to attend the state convention of the Junior Order of United American Mechanics. Mr. Hendricks is a delegate. Mr. and Mrs. El Wilson returned to Hartford City, today, after visiting here for a short time with Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton Mercer. While here Mr. Wilson was looking over some of Adams county's fine real estate, and stated that he was most favorably impressed with the same and might in the near future return to this county and make it his future home.
George McKean and [Dick Christen returned last evening from Ge- j neva, where they were attending to a job of surveying. At the meeting of Court No. 15, Tribe of Ben Hur, last evening, it was announced that the degree staff of Decatur Court of that fraternity, together with a large proportion of the membership, would come to Fort Wayne next Friday evening to be the guests of No. 15.
