Mr. and Mrs. Tom Miller returned last evening from a business visit at Toledo. Miss Vie Hendricks arrived last evening from Monroe, and is the guest of relatives. A. T. Vail returned to Fort Wayne last evening, after a business visit in this city. Mrs. Snyder left last evening for Monroeville, after a visit in this city with Mrs. Marie Smith. Mr. and Mrs. James returned to Northern Michigan today, being enroute from Akron, Ohio.

Mrs. Charles Bonham arrived last evening from Fountain City, and is the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Rex. Mrs. Uptegraff, of Allegheny City, Pa., arrived this morning, and is the guest of Mrs. Theodore Kennedy for few days. Mrs. M. E. SURPRISED HER Mrs. T. R. Blossom the Victim of Well Planned Event. Mrs. T. R. Blosser was the victim of a most agreeable surprise party last evening, gotten up by a number of her friends who took advantage of her absence from the city during the day and invited thirty of her most intimate friends and neighbors into spend the evening. Mrs. Blosser returned home early in the evening and entered her home without the least suspicion of what was about to happen, and you may imagine her surprise when the lights were turned on and she was standing in tho midst of her friends. After the’exoitemeut of the occasion had subsided all were invited to the dining room where a most sumptuous supper was served. The evening was then enjoyably spent in playing numerous games and by listening to musical selections rendered by different parties present and at a late hour all adjourned wishing Mrs. Blosser many more such happy events. THE NEXT SHOW “Was She to Blame” at Opera House Next Thursday Evening. For purity and grandeur “Wat She to Blame” has not an equal. The comedy is bright and sparkling which causes themost sober m inded to burst into laughter. Miss Barrett is an ideal Diana. She holds the audience spellbound. She has extraordinary talent, and none can help admiring her abilities. A performance never to be forgotten. Sweethearts, husbands, wives and children should see it. Myrtle Everett went to Berne today, to visit for a short time with relatives., Miss’Byerly went to Knightstown today to visit over Sunday with relatives. Miss Frazier returned today from Fort Wayne, where she was consulting an eye specialist. Miss Surah Wise arrived today from Union City, and is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Eiler. Mrs. Auten returned to Fort Wayne today, after spending the with relatives. Mis. J. O. Wyatt and daughter Marie, arrived today from Fort Wayne, and are the guests of Nathan Wyatt and family. Rev. Mower returned to Geneva today. He was enroute from Greentown, where he united his sen Alfred in marriage to Miss Mabie Parsons. A big baby boy is reported at the homo of Mr. and Mrs. James D. Brown, of Kirkland township. Everyone doing well and Grandpa William Adler is the happiest man in the township.
