GREAT SHOW Jolly Pathfinders Are Winners ■ Pleasea Large Audience Last NightSpecialties are Best Ever Seen in Dentur.
A representative of the Daily Democrat attended the opening performance of the Rentfrow Stock company at Bosse's opera house last night and we are happy to say that it is without Jdoubt the repertoire company ever seen in Decatur, in fact last night’s performance easily surpassed the average one night show. It was immense, and the company deserves a crowded house every night this week. The actors are clever, know their parts well and the costumes and scenery are fine. Last night’s performance, “On the Verge of Ruin” was interesting and well played. It is impossible to pick out the best for each actor was a star. The music was alone worth the price of admission. The specialties were as good as were ever seen on the Bosse stage, the Japanese magic act being one of the highest priced vaudeville attractions on the American stage. Baby Pullen captured her audience as did also Jackson and Clara Lynn. The company deserves your patronage and we know they will please you. They present “Midnight in Chinatown” tonight. Lost—A heavy gold band ring, between lower river bridge and Monroe street. Reward offered. Leave ct Ed Johnson's saloon on Monroe street. ~ 191'd6“"
