Mill Spencer made a business trip to Berne this morning. A. Tubeman of Ft. Wayne was a business caller hree today. Mrs. Lewton returned to Preble today she, was shopping here. Mrs. \\ ise left this morning for Lagrange to visit with her parents. Mrs. William Baker has gone to Ft. | W ayne to visit friends for a short time. D. M. Hensley leaves for Rome City today to spend Sunday with his family. Mrs. E. A. Mana went to Ft. Wayne this morning to visit for a short time with friends. A. J. Hook arrived today from Georgetown, Ky., and is the guest of Miss Minta Acker. Mary A. Foos went to Big Rapids. Mich., this morning, to visit for a short time with her parents. Frank Reynolds has gone to Indianapolis to visit for a few days with Mr. and Mrs George Vail. Harry Quinn went to Rome City this morning to spend Sunday with his brother French and family. Mrs. Clark Foreman of Willshire passed through our city this morning enroute to Berne to visit with relatives Mrs. Smith returned this morning from Mishawaka, after making a short visit there with Mr. and Mrs. O. Shaw. Mr. and Mr. Jesse Sutton and children went to Ossian today to visit for a short time with Mr. and Mrs. White. Miss Jessie Simison, of Berne, who has been the guest of Miss Emma Huffman for several days, returned home last evening. Mrs. George Zimmerman entertained Mesdames R. S. Peterson, Burt Lower and C. O. France yesterday at dinner, in honor of her mother, Mrs. Burrell, of Bluffton. B. Kalver and Sons opened their first show window at their Hub Clothing Store in the Allison Vesey block last evening, and to be sure its a beauty. Take a look at it when you are down town. The funeral services of Mrs. Peter Wilhelm will be held Monday morning at the St. Mary Catholic church at nine o’clock sun time, Father Wilkens officiating. Interment will be made at the St. Joseph cemetery.

John Frisinger returned today from a business trip at Ohio City. Miss Hower, who was the guest of friends here, returned to Craigville today. W. R. Cochran, jr., has gone to Delphos, Ohio, to spend Sunday with his family. Miss Cramer went to Holgate, Ohio, today, to visit for a short time with her sister. Mrs. Smith left for Lagrange this morning to visit for a few days with relatives. Miss Anna Bendtr returned today to Pleasant Mills from a visit with reltives at Geneva. Argo Brushwiller went to Fort Wayne this morning to spend Sun day with friends. Miss Ida Smitley returned to Hoagland this morning. She. had been visiting in Tocsin. Mrs. T. Conrad returned to Fort Wayne this morning after visiting a short time here with relatives. Ben Williams and family have returned from Pleasant Mills, where they were visiting with relatives. Mrs. Bud Brokaw and family went to Columbia City this morning to visit for a short time with relatives. Elzey & Vance, the clothiers, have purchased a large and handsome new safe and same has been placed in their up to date store. Unclaimed letters are at the post office for John Brouch, John Kiblee, Miss Minta Seligman, Mrs. W. T. Moreland and Miss Actano Smith. Mrs. Sidney Andrews, Mrs. Wm. Long and son Harry of Huntertown returned to their homes today after a few days visit with their brother, Nathan Wyatt and family. W. A. Kuebler Roman Burthell, Julis Spies and Frank Barthell returned lust evening from Atwood Lake where they spent a week monkeying with the finny tribe, all the boys have some wonderful fish stories to tell and all declare Keubler caught a carp weighing forty seven pounds it was a whopper.
