Miss Eva Good and Ralph Craig will spend Sunday with relatives in Rochester. Mrs. D. E. Lotzenheizor left today for Kingsland to visit relatives over Sunday. Mrs. Erb’and daughter returned last evening to Williams she was shopping here. John’ Greim returned to Ft. Wayne last evening he was a busi ness caller here. The funeral of John Bucher was held this morning at St. Mary's Catholic church. C. W. Maxwell has returned to Frankfort. While here ha was the guest of W. E. Fulk. Mrs. David Vojz and daughter went to Preble today to spend Sunday with relatives. Miss Luella Aumiller went to Markle today where she will visit over Sunday with her sister. The K. of P. lodge, of Toledo, will will pass through here this evening, enroute to St. Louis to attend the World's Fair. Clayton Murray departs for Pine Bluff, Ark., tomorrow, al whieh place he again takes his former position as locomotive engineer on the Cotton Belt Railway. Mr. Murray is well up in locomotive engineering.

Pug Shaw will leave to-night for ' Indianapolis with a carload of horses belonging to J. H. Chamberlain. Mr. and Mrs. B. Baker and son j left this morning for Sturigs Mich., to visit for a few days with their daughter. Mrs. Dan Sprang returned this morning from Warsaw where she was attending the state G. A. R. encampment. John Girard is the name of the young man who fell from the bridge on Thursday, he still insists that j he was unhurt. Misses Lilie Wegnieller and ! Madge Anderson arrived last evening from Geneva and are the I guests of Miss Myer. Miss Grater returned last evening from Huntington where she is attending school and will spend Sunday with her parents. The infant child of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Amerine died this morning. No arrangements have as yet been made for the funeral. Mrs. Charles Bain returned to hey home at Portland this morning after visiting here for a few days with Mr. and Mrs James Bain. The funeral of Fred Mailand will take place tomorrow morning at eight thirty instead of nine thirty as announced in yesterday's paper funeral services preached at the St. John Lutheran church. Judge Erwin of Decatur, was in the city, Friday, inspecting R. P. Stewart’s gravel pump. The Judge has a goodly deposit of gravel on his Adams county farm and has concluded that a gravel pump is about the proper article to bring it to the surface.—Portland Sun. Wayne this morning to visit over Sunday with Mrs. Rodgers. Harmon Bitner and wife of Union township announce the arrival of a boy baby. Every one concerned well and happy.
