McCarty returned to Hoagland last evening, he was herejofficiating vit the funeral of Henry Myers. Mrs. L. G. Ellingham and son, Miller, returned last evening from Winchester where they were visiting with relatives. Shaffer Peterson went to Fort Wayne last evening to prepare some issues in the case of Scheiman vs. the Grand Rapids railroad. Mr. and Mrs. Lase Ellis went to Indianapolis today, being called there owing to the sickness of Mr Ellis’ mother Children’s Day will be duly celebrated at Concord church, north of Monmouth, on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p. m.
