A NEW PHASE A New Question to be Raised in Berne Saloon Fight. Samuel Sprunger and Samuel Kuntz will both apply for liquor licenses to conduct a saloon in the same business room. This may give rise to a new question on the Nicholson law. The law provides that there can be no partnership in the retail liquor business, but does not say whether more than one li-l cense oan be granted to cover one; and the same location where liquor is to be retailed. Messrs. Kuntz and Sprunger are evidently trying to play a “mill game’ with the remonstrators.—Berne Witness.
