Amusements. “My Friend from Arkansaw” which will be seen at the opera house tonight will be genuine treat for those who wish to see realism oombnied with a thrilling story of Arkansaw life. There is a fascination in a well told story of those days of old, those days of God, and who can tell it better than the pop 1 ular author Robert Sherman, who has traveled among the picturesque characters and scenes which should make his latest play “My Friend from Arkansaw” one of the greatest successes of the season. In this production one e»*s a true insight to the life of poor but honest Arkansaw farmer. This company is one of the greatest favorites now before the public, and like wine gets better every year, and is playing to crowded houses everywhere. Everything from beginning to end is original. The show abounds in a beautiful scenery, bright and witty sayings, strong dramatic situations and combined with unusually fine specialties.
