Peterson. Dye Ferguson got up some time last night and by hard work landed in Decatur at an early hour this morning. The show window at Dyonis Schmitt's meat market shows a very tasty and attractive display of meat and everything pertaining to an up-to-date meat market, showing the progressive nature of the genial manager. The black fur collerette that was lost a few days ago by Mrs. John Spuller has been found and return ed to this office. Mrs. Biggs of this city found the furs on the same day it was lost and seeing the Jost advertisement in the Democrat returned it to this office. The Womens Relief Corps hold an interesting meeting in the G. A. R. hall last evening and are enthused over the prospect of erecting in the near future a monument in the cemetery on the plot of ground left for that purpose in the honor of our Adams county soldiers and sailors who wore the blue. When it conies to having pipe dreams, John Coots leads the bunch. John is a great admirer of the Japs and when he arose from his downy couch this morning he gathered about him his faithful few and into their ears he poured forth all the troubles he hud during his peaceful slumbers. Archbold returned last evening from a business trip at Piqua Ohio. It really begins to look like spring was nearing, the blue birds and other warblers have arrived. Miss Stella Wemhoff arrived today from Fort Wayne and will spend Sundav with her parents. Mrs. Drusilla Summers and grand daughter of Elwood are visiting her daughter, Mrs. Mattie E. Magner of this city. Isaac Emery who rceeived the nomination for trustee of Blue Creek township at the county primary was here on buisness today. Marie Finch, the infant child of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Finch, of west Monroe street, died last evening and was buried today at 3:30 o’clock in Maplewood cemetery.
