was never before done in Adams cor nty. At least so wo have been informed by many of our friends so often that we have finally consented to believe. The big trial is over and everyone connected with it is glad of the fact. Every at torney showed the hard work, the loss of sleep and the long ami severe mental strain and at least three of them wen* yesterday on the verge of severe illness. A SCRAP Whiskey Had an Inning Last Night. A three or four cornered fight oc-

cured at the Burt house entrance last night, in which most every participant came off with a happy reminder of the fact that he was there. Frank Schumacker seemed to lie the king bee with a fellow by the name of Webb as a close second. They punctured a lot of bad whiskey and they tried to start a rough house at the the Burt House Case. The manager promptly fired them bodily, and then they tried to show Andrews, the night clerk at the Burt, a few things, and from this a free fight resulted with about six participants, all of them receiving a few ringers. The police arrived in time to carry Webb off to jail, but the other birds had flown. It was a disgraceful affair, although no real serious results were attained. A few days in the county jail would do the whole flock a lot of good. Toys of all kinds. Racket store.
