Stephenson for a few days. Twelve ear loads of brick arrived today, eight of Metropolitan and four of Logan. Mr. Stricher informs us that he will start to lay brick Monday. Mrs. Dr. Reisurer and Minnine Reisurer arrived today from Marion and will be the guests of Miss Hattie Studabaker and Mrs. Morrison. Mrs. Anna Geimer has rented her residence in West Madison street and will move to the John Geimer farm east of this city where she will reside. We are informed that Prof. Louis Lehman, teacher at the Fuelling schools will soon leave for Illinois where he will enter upon similar duties. Thomas Ehinger. Frank Wemhoff, Jesse Sheller and John Smith composed an automobile party that went to Monroe last evening to advertise 1 for the Kathleen Mavourneen play. Mrs. Charles Linn, son and daughter went to Muncie today, after visiting for a week at the home of Mr and Mrs. L. G. Ellingham. Mrs. Linn is a neice of Col. M B Miller. The Wrong Made Kight company arrived from Berne last night and say they had fine success and played last night to a crowded house. They leave for Ohio City today where they showtonight. Fred Hoffman. Wash Beam, C. Bollinger, Frank Grant, Tom Me. Naulty, A. Shaw, Cal Duckett and Loger Voglewede went to Craigville ' today to put the finishing touches on the school house there.

Frank McConnell returned from Montpelier, Ohio, last evening. Mrs. Keller left today for Van Buren to visit a few davs with relatives. Mrs. Dutcher and daughter, of Willshire, are in the city shopping. Ed Erwin returned from Frankfort last evening, where he has been working. Ross Mallonee and Charles Christen went to Craigville today on business. Mrs. McLean arrived today from Sims ()., and will be the guest of friends. Miss Mary Thompson went to Summitville to visit a few days with friends, W. A. Lower returned from Fort Wayne, today, where he had been transacting business. Mrs. F. A. Craig returned to her home at Marion today after spending a few days here with friends. Mrs. John Venus and family left today for Craigville. where they expect to make their future home.
Mrs. Lam merman returned to her home at Monroe today. She had been attending the W R. C. convention. Mesdames Regina Foster and Al McNess, of Farmland, are here as delegates to the W. K. C. convention. Mrs. Railing returned from Berne last evening where she had been attending the Wrong Made Right Sho w. Mrs. Kleinhenz returned to her home at Delphos, Ohio, today, after a few days visit with W. Watts and family, Martin Laughlin, who has been transacting business in the citv for several days, returned to his home at Geneva today. Josie Sunier, who has been the guest of C. Hocker for the past few days, left today for Geneva, where sLe will visit a few days with relatives. Mrs. N. A. Taylor returned to her home at Anderson today. She was a delegate to the W. R. C. Convention but was taken sick. ‘ The case of Feltz. vs Smith is still on trial in circuit court and will probably be concluded by tomorrow evening. The case is for possesion of property and was brought hei o from Wells county. Mrs. A. B. Morrison and Miss Hattie Studabaker were hostess at a clever little dinner party today, for their guests Mrs. Reason and Miss Bay of Marion, and Miss Irwin of Wheeling.
