Bluffton is udvertiisng a game of ball for tomorrow with a team from Decatur but no one cun lx* found who is going and there must lie a mistake somewhere as Sidney, Ohio is scheduled for here. C. W. Bohnke, of Monroe township, made this office a pleasant call yesti'rday and informed us that he is arranging to move on the old I home farm in Root township about ' November Ist to make his future home. The Clover Laef railroad company had a costly wreck Tuesday at Lerna, a small station on the west end. The first section of train No. 42, one of the fast meat trains, had flftiNHi cars ditched, the wreck being caused by a journal of one of the cars breaking, letting it down on the tracks. Before the train could bestopjied fifteen of the cars had been ditched. The cars were all loaded and the loss to the company will be quite heavy. Passenger train N 0.5 hud to run around the wreck.

An awning in front of Ed John son's saloon fell last evening, and a lady passing at the time narrowlyescaped injury. Mrs, H. Covault who has been visiting with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. John Debolt, returned to her home at Rockford today. Marsh Burdg left for Van Wert today, where he has been called to the bedside of his daughter, Maude, who is very sick. In all probability the electric lights will be turned off at midnight tonight on account of setting up the new dynamo, and if everything goes off smoothly the lights will lie turned on again Sunday evening.
