Mrs. Margaret Murphy and Mrs. Hillis returned to Terre Haute. The death of Steven Hamilton oc-

curred at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. F. V. Derry, in Madison township, at an early hour this morning. Mr. Hamilton's home is in Greenfield am! he was nere visiting his daughter. The cause of death is given as shock and collapse. His age was eighty-four years. The remains were taken to Greenfield on the afternoon train. Mr. Hamilton had just recovered from a long spell of sickness and the fatigue of the journey from Greengeld to this city caused his death but a few hours after
