I have been troubled a long time with what I suppose they call dyspepsia. I call it indigestion. 1 have had great pain in my chest for many years, and I used'’to have difficulty in breathing at times, and feel as if something had stuck in my throat, especially after eating, and I always had to be careful what I ate. I dared not eat pastry or hot rolls, and at times I would get dizzy in my head. I tried Pepsin and other patent medicines, and I did not find much benefit until the man at the drug store where I deal asked me to try Ripans Tabules. I did, and I tell you I felt more benefit from one box of Ripans Tabules than all the other stuff I had been taking. I had about thtee or four boxes, and I am cured. I don’t have the pain in my chest, my bowels are more regular, and I can eat any kind of food that is put before me. Ripans Tabules have made a good cure for me, and I tell vou I tell all my friends to try them.

Christianity mill llutl.llilsin. Buddhism and Christianity are at one in this, that they peicdve that our life here is hut a moment and. if rightly lived, it must he lived in view of an eternal life or a life hereafter. Life does not cease with our departure, it still continues beyond; and that Hfo beyond will he shaped by the life here. Indeed, no discrimination can he male on grounds of time. A fall from a horse, contact with a fever germ — these things cannot change the nature Oi eternal life. So the Buddah teaches, 50 Jesus teaches. Eternal life is something here and now, if it ever is to be. Both teachers insist on this. Yet. oi ce more, there Is here a strange difference of emphasis, for that which is promised in Buddhism is that in proportion as we are righteous here, so shall existence hereafter be shortened; whereas in Christianity it is promised that in proportion as we are righteous lu re we may be assured of an immortal life hereafter.
