Many complaints are being made of the theft of (lowers from yards that have easy access from the streets. Some of the most beautiful and valuable collections in the city have been ruined in one night. A pot of valuable plants was taken ftom a yard on Bloomington street last night. The owner knows the person who took it and expects
their return.

Marshal Starr is out-spoken in his denunciation of allowing fakirs such as the neck-tie man who operated here on Friday, to receive license at the hands of the city. He thinks the city does wrong in licensing such games and is determined to stop them hereafter. While the marshal has no sympathy for any one fool enough to go against such a game, still he thinks the game such a hare-fraud that it shouldn’t bj countenanced. A crap or a poker game is a credit to the fakir’s scheme, and Marshal Starr is right In his determination
to stop such frauds.

The Pimples
That Bloom in
The Spring At no other season are Pimples and Humors so abundant or so annoying as in the Spring. An unseasonably warm day, before change of winter clothing, heats the blood, and these Pin pw-s and Humors itch and burn, and their annoyance, the suffering they cause, is known only to those afflicted. At no time is a blood purifying medicine more effective than just before and during this season. If your blood is not right (and whose is?) you are liable to be one of these sufferers this Spring. A course of Hood's Sarsaparilla begun now and faithfully pursued will save you suffering and give you rugged health, so that you can thoroughly enjoy all the pleasures of the coming summer.
Pimples on the Face. “I have been troubled for three years with pimples on my face and body. 1 tried several remedies with only temporary relief. I am now taking Hood’s Sarsaparilla and it is doing me a wonderful amount of good. My general health is greatly improved, and I feel very thankful for what Hood’s Sarsaparilla has already done for me.” Miss Jane Jabrosky,
Burnham, Illinois.
A Clear Complexion. ‘‘I have had a bad complexion owii g to impure blood. I have been taking Hood’s Sarsaparilla and my ekin is now'clear. Hood’s Sarsaparilla baa done me much good by purifying my blood.” Annie D. McCoy, Wat-
sontoa, Pennsylvania.
The impurities in the blood wnicli J causes scrofulous eruptions are tlmr- • ouglily eradicated by Hood’s Sursapa-' rilla. Try it. College Avenue M, E. Church. Preaching by the pastoral 10:30 The evening service will consist o; a fifteen minute discourse, follower with a praise and testimony meet ing conducted by Paul Burlingatm. The choir has prepared special mu sic for this service.
Boils, Blotches, Sores, Pimples. “I have been afflicted for many years with impure blood, which manifested itself In erysipelas, boils, blotches, sores and pimples. I have used many medicines and found Hood’s Sarsaparilla to be the best. I recommend Hood's Sarsaparilla to all who are affected with Impure blood.” Isaac P. Martin, Walnut Hill, 111. Annoyed by Eruptions. '‘I had eruptions caused by impure blood and at times they were very annoying. I was treated by physicians without benefit, and last winter I took a bottle of Hood’s Sarsaparilla and found it, helped me. I kept on until 1 had taken live Potties, and 1 aia no longer annoyed with eruptions.'’ W. K. Hudson, Natrona, i J a.
