The transcript of the evidence in the case of Mrs. Frances Cheek against the Illinois Central railroad, which was tried at Williamsport three weeks ago, has been completed for sending the ease up to the Supreme court. The judgement awarded Mrs. Cheek was #14,0011. It was one of tlie largest ever awarded a person for personal injuries sustained.
