The Indiana university foot hall team arrived at noon with about JO rooters. The I. T. team lined up as follows this afternoon: Polk, right end: Endicott. right tackle; King, right guard, Ray, center; Sparks, left guard; Orine, left tackle; Sheek, left end; Benford, quarterback; Eagleson, right halfback; Yanster, left halfback; Scott fullback. 1 l presented Perry as referee and DePauw Wade as umpire. The new election ballots are 17' a by 30' a inches in length. This will necessitate the purchase of new ballot boxes as not more than 100 of the sheets will go into one of the old sized boxe*. It will require a box about twice the size of the boxes now in use throughout the State and these will have to he provided by the county commissioners before the election or there will be trouble. The hallot will contain seven tickets, which makes it almost twice as bulkv when folded as it was two years ago. On account of the great number of tickets in the tk-ld there are other points that will have to be carefully considered by those having the arrangements for the election m charge. The wheelmen of Indiana will make a pilgrimage to Canton to visit Major McKinley on the tenth. Indiana feels that she should be given special recognition by the next president, and the wheelmen of the state have secured that date to present a good road movement which they believe will prove of bene tit to tile whole United States. It is desired that as many Indiana wheelmen as possible make the trip. The start will be made from Indianapolis Friday night. George X. Catterson, who has charge of the National Wheelmen’s McKinley and Ilotiart clubs throughout the state, has secured a very low rate from Indianapolis to Canton and return. There will be a big wheelmens parade in Indianapolis on Friday night, and Mr. Catterson desires that all those who contemplate making the trip will notify him at once and he there Friday evening to take part in the parade. Parties of ten or more will be made up in several towns outside of Indianapolis, and these delegations will all be there Fridav evening to go with the main body which will leave at 10:20

that night.

At Allen Bros., • ry goods store along about noon an incident occurred that caused considerable excitement. Mr-. Phillips and daughter, Miss Nora, of Coatesville, were in the crowded store trading and Mrs. Phillips placed her pocket book on the counter. While her attention was temporarily diverted her pocketbook disappeared. -She suspected a woman who was near and as the woman left the store accompanied by two or three small children, Mrs. Phillips followed her feeling sure that her pocket book was in a satchel which the woman carried Mrs. Phillips made a search of the grip and found her book, j There was at out .f4o in the pocket book. ■ The Ban.vkh Times could not learn the name of the woman who took the money but she is represented as being very poor and living in the country. It wag not known at two o'clock whether any prosecution would follow. Rev. Orra Squires, of Martinsville, arrived at noon. He will make his home with his daughter. Mrs. X. S. Joslin. He is also the father of U. S. Senator Squires, of Washinston state. story.

The school hoard of Crtiwfordsville has passed an unusual sauitaiy rule tor the schools of the city. Every pupil is required to bring an individual drink-

impure blood, to take Hood’s Sarsaparilla, and prevent such eruptions and suffering. “I had a dreadful carbuncle abscess, red, fiery, fierce and sore. The doctor attended me over seven week.'. When the abscess broke, the pains were terrible, and I thought I should not live through it. I heard and read so much about Hood’s Sarsaparilla, that I decided to take it, and my husband, who was suffering with boils, tdok it also. It soon purified our Blood
