A prominent democrat in Green castle now makes the astonishing statement that the democratic party is not split at all on silver and that little fight in their mass convention really was just in fun. So it seems as if they have found out which way to jump and will all now be for silver.

VVfceklv Crop Report. Very favorable weather, warm, sunny and good rains on several days advanced and improved crops, >>ut in many fields the ground was too wet for cultivating. Wheat is ripening fast, and in some localities the harvest has begun. Barley is being put in shock, and hay making has begun in many localities. Wheat in general is a poor crop. Barley and rye will »ield a fair crop. Clover in many localities is considered a fair crop, but hay and timothy will he short. Oats are in excellent condition, promising a good yield. Corn is- growing rap idly, is vigorous, and stands well under good cultivation: in some fields it had to be replanted. Early potatoes are large enough for digging, and late potatoes are nearly everywhere in bloom, and of good promise. The weather has been good for setting tobacco plants, but they are scarce and not abundant. Pasturage is fair and stock in good condition. The army worm in localities of the central portion is doing much danoage. Fruit and berries continue to be in best con dition, except apples, which are falling oil' much. Large hail in Wabash county ruined all crops The hail belt was about three miles wide.

Stomach, sometimes called waterbrash, and burning pain, distress, nausea, dyspepsia, are cured by Hood’s Sarsaparilla. This it accomplishes because with its wonderful power as a blood purifier, Hood’s Sarsaparilla gently tones and strengthens the stomach and digestive organs, invigorates the liver, creates an appetite, gives refreshing sleep, and raises the health tone. In cases of dyspepsia and indigestion it

seems to have “ a magic touch.”
