Brazilian Balm contains no opium or other narcotic to deaden the nerves which the disesre sweeps on. It is a constitutional remedy and instantly attacks and destroys these pillaging lung moths. Democrats leaders who were in the city Saturday howling about carrying Putnam county, should have told the voters that there was an increase in the public debt dur ing March of $5,274,780. This in crease was caused by democratic misruie. Immana has seventeen bicycle fae tories. Jackson’s Trial Set Tuesday, April 21.

There will be none of the Green-j castle people summoned to New port leave this week for the reason j that the trial ot t^cott Jackson lias been postponed. The following! telegram received by the Banner Times at eleven o’clock this morn ing gave the first news of the post-

ponement :

Special to Hanner Tiuiue. Cincinn vii, i iliio, April 7—Jackson’s ease postponed to April 21. This was not unexpected as the feeling for several days has been that the case would be postponed in view < f the representation of the defense that they wouldn’t be ready for trial on the 7th. The witnesses and members of the Bryan family bad prepared to go but will now, of course, wait until the 21st. Stubbed in the Barks. South Gretueastle was treated, to a “scrap’’ Monday afternoon which furnished a sensation. Two lads, Harvey Ashley and Harry Vancleave engaged in a quarrel which led to a fight. During the fracas young Vancleaye was stabbed in the back by the Ashley boy ami severely injured. Ashley was taken to jail where he now lan guishes. The injury of Vancleave, while probably not dangerous, is a serious one and he is confined to his bed. He is a son of Stephen Vancleave, jr. Young Ashley will remain in jail pending the outcome of Vancleave’s injury as a trial cannot be had until Vancleave can

appear.
