Typhoid Fcror. Typhoid is cow admitted by all scientists to be caused by a venom microbe that swarms by the million in the tissues of the small intestines, producing fever, delirium, extreme prostration, putrifaction and death. The medical profession has earnestly sought a reliable antidote for this mortal plague and found none. Hence it is a bold, an almost startling claim, (a claim never before dared to be made for any remedy,) that Brazilian Balm, alone, will positively cure Typhoid Kp ^ TYPHOID S4.CIU.US. Fever tn any stage. This great discovery was the result of a woman’s faith. Mrs. L. B. Bradwsy, of Wilmington, Del., believed the Balm would do almost anything. Hence she gave it in 6 drop doses, every three to five minutes, to a voung lady in the last stage of Typhoid, fehe had been given up by the doctor, who said she could not live half an hour. To the surprise of all she quickly revived and recovered. Since then it has been used by laymen, nurses and physicians with uniform success. How ft cures was then a mystery; but it is now fully settled that it promptly de•troys every Typhoid bacillus in the system. It staunches the hemorrhage, heals the whole alimentary track, and, instead of the slow, tedious convalescence, restores to health and strength with surprising rapidity. In short, it fills every concition of a perfect antidote for Typhoid. '1 ’ahnent: Give 10 drops every lo minutes while the fever rages, and once an hour when the fever is off, and give nothing else. During convalescence gi"c •'! or 4 times a day. To ore vent Typhoid give every hour. “A few doses of Brazilian Balm enrer, me of one of the worst colds I ever had. vith loss of voice.” Oen. W. S. ocratic newspapers may jump up this week and begin denying and explaining this matter as they do others but this is a question that goes home to every voter and is simplified into road districts. Thus they arc able to see the practical workings of some of these road deals, as they are right under their noses, so to speak. The people cannot be fooled on such a practical subject, and it behooves them to vote out of power a party that will force such robbery upon them. Let there be light thrown upon this gravel road repair question is an appeal coming up from all over this demoeratic beridden county.

Secretary Lament intends to remain in politics for the purpose of becoming democratic candidate for governor of New York, as many believe, lie made a great mistake when he wrote that letter, attacking Uen. Nelson A. Miles, by irmnit&tion, if not directly, in order to prevent congress passing the bill providing for a revival of the grade of Lieutenant-Ueneral of the army for Gen. Miles. Already it must have become manifest to Secretary I.araont that he nas stirred up a regular hornet’s nest. Gen. Miles has many friends, especially among the old soldiers, and they have already begun to take steps towards heading oil any
