The State Building and Loan league met in annual session in the Agricultural room at the state capitol this iniirnisig at ten o’clock. The news from Spain today is not of an encouraging nature to Mr. A. T. Kelley of this city. The dispatchcs Mate that a mob stoned the l'. S. consulate at Valencia, anti the windows were smashed by the infuriated populace. The consul at Valencia is Mr. A. F. 1’ay, who lately was appointed Consul with headquarters at Denia, Spain. Denia is a smaller place than Valencia so Mr. Fay chose the latter place for his residence. He is a son-in-law of Mr. Kelley, having married Susie G. Kelley, and w ith their child they have lately established themselv! - in their new location, it is hoped by their friends here that the reports are overdrawn and Mr. and Mrs. Fay are
safe from the Spanish mob.
