Eddie Kiteljorg will play hall again. The Greencastle twirler once siiul he was out of the game for good and no offer, however flattering, would induce him to sign a contract. Notwithstanding, however, he has affixed iiis signature to a Grand Rapids contract, and will be a Gold Hug this season. Jack Carney signed Kiteljorg last Saturdnv. The big first baseman quietly went to Greencastle and when he left he had the signed pa pers in his pocket. When Kiteljorg was playing in Terre Haute last year he was tried in the box and did excellent work. His arm is as good as it ever was. He never was sore in the shoulder, which explodes the story that he has a “gla»s wing ” With honest Jim Hughey, Jerry Nope and Kiteljorg the mainstays Grand Rapids should lard well up in the race.
